Description of supererogatory prayers

 The literal meaning of nafl is superfluous.  The supererogatory prayer is an extra prayer to increase the reward.  It has not been declared necessary to perform it like the Sunnah prayers but by performing these prayers one can increase his reward. Nafl prayers are:  ۔

   The supererogatory prayer:

    Tahajjud: The tahajjud prayer has a minimum of two rak'ats and a maximum of twelve rak'ats.  After Isha prayers, lie down on the bed and get up at any time of the night to perform Tahajjud prayers. The best time is midnight and last night.

    Ishraq: At least ten minutes after sunrise prayer of Ishraq, there are at least two rak'ats, like the normal prayer is performed  Needless to say, even if the intention of supererogation at the time of Ishraq is correct.

 Chasht, the time of Chasht prayers begins when the sun rises very well.  This is the best time for Chasht when half of the total time has elapsed between sunrise and the beginning of Zuhr.  The Chasht prayer has a minimum of four and a maximum of twelve rak'ats.

 Awabeen: Generally the Nawafils which are recited after the duties and traditions of the West are called "Salat-ul-Awabeen". The minimum number is six and the maximum is twenty.  This prayer is mustahab.  According to the Mufti, these six rak'ahs are in addition to the two rak'ahs after Maghrib.  However, some jurists say that this virtue can be attained by performing six rak'ahs in conjunction with the Sunnah.  Salat al-Tasbeeh: Salat al-Tasbeeh is a type of supererogatory prayer in which four rak'ats are recited with one tashahhud or two salams.  The reason for this prayer is that Tasbeehat is often recited in it.  The words of Tasbeeh which are mentioned in the hadeeth are:  This Tasbeeh is recited 75 times in each rak'ah of this prayer.  Salat-ul-Khuf: Take care of your prayers, especially those prayers which are comprehensive of the essence of Salat.

   Salat-ul-Haajat: When someone is in need, he should offer two or four rak'ats of Nafl after Isha prayers.  If you recite Qul Awaz Barb Al-Nas once, it is like reciting four rak'ats in Shab-e-Qadr.  Then he should ask about his need.  God willing, he will be needed.

 The wife of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) Umm Habiba (may Allaah be pleased with her) said: I heard the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) say:  Builds a palace.  (Sahih Muslim 2/1 H5)

   It is makrooh to offer supererogatory prayers at the following times: From dawn till dawn.  From after Asr prayers till sunset.  Meridian  Apart from these three times, one can offer supererogatory prayers at any time.  Also, the number of Nawafils is not specified by Shariah. Nawafils can be paid as much as one can afford.  The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “The first thing that will be reckoned among the deeds of the slaves is the prayer.”  Kareem knows more than them.
