The antiquity of Blot Sharif can be gauged from the archeological finds in it. History has it that the artefacts found in the town date back to BC.
In BC there was a great battle between Till and Bill, the ruler of that place, in which Bill, who had built this fort, was defeated by Till. Till was a symbol of goodness and Bill was a symbol of evil. Victory and Evil Defeated The vines carved on the various stones of the fort show that the people of that time had high architectural tastes. These vines are a testament to their hard work day and night. A wide path was built to reach the fort. Which was decorated with stones of different colors. This path took a detour to the top of the fort. Even today there are light impressions of a path. Inside the fort, there is a place which resembles a room. It is said that people used to worship here. In the towers of the fort, they kept their deities. Once upon a time, there used to be a platform right in the middle of the fort, the signs of which can be found even today. At present, the condition of this fort is deteriorating. I have seen this fort with my own eyes with the craftsmanship of this time. The craftsmanship of these people is definitely worth it. This fort is technically a masterpiece of its time.
The Kafirkot temples are beautifully designed by skilled craftsmen on all four sides. There are also statues and shelves for lighting. There are traces of an old road to climb the hill. These temples, four large and three small, are made of a mixture of local limestone kanjur. Weather or rain do not affect these rocks. The decoration is very intricate and delicate with sunflower flowers.
Once upon a time, the river Indus flowed under the mountains of Kafarkot. There is a waterway to the east of the mountain on which these ruins are located. Today, the ruined ruins of Kafrkot are shrouded in sharp stones and thorny bushes. Being on the top of a mountain, these archeological sites are still preserved. Blot Sharif
