Kargil War In 1999, the fourth war between India and Pakistan, known as the Kargil War, took place on the site of Kargil, which is why it is known as the Kargil War.

 Pakistan crushed India in Kargil. In this historic war with India, Pakistan strangled the Indian Army. The Indian Army will never forget this defeat.

 Pakistani army shot down three Indian warplanes, besides, Indian army lost its balance in Kargil sector and killed more than 700 soldiers in this war, India got a bad shock.

  Former Indian Army General Kishan Pal has admitted that Kargil War was not actually won by India.  In an interview given to Indian TV in New Delhi, formation commander in Kargil War, Lt. General Retired Kishan Pal said that 527 soldiers lost their lives in Kargil War in 1999.

 In the 1999 war, India failed not only on the battlefield but also on the diplomatic front.
