Hazrat Makhdoom Bahauddin Zakaria Multani

 Hazrat Makhdoom Bahauddin Zakaria Multani

There is no doubt that one of the major sources of the spread of Islam in the world is the servants of God who are considered to be among the great mystics and saints.

Shaykh-ul-Islam Baha'u'llah and Zakaria Multani Suhrawardy (may Allah have mercy on him) are the great elders of the Suhrawardiya dynasty and Arif Kamil has passed away.  Hafiz, Qari, Muhaddith, Mufassir, Alam, Fazil, Arif, Wali were everything.  Sheikh Sheikh Abu Hafs was the caliph of Shahabuddin Suhrawardi.  Recognized in the seventh century AH.  The external and internal sciences were the only jobs.

Hazrat Makhdoom Bahauddin Zakaria Multani of Quraysh descent and Watan Maluf Mecca

Hazrat Bahauddin Zakaria bin Muhammad Ghaus aka Wajihuddin bin Shah Kamaluddin Ali bin Sultan Ali Qudsi aka Sultan Jalaluddin bin Sultan Muhammad Shah bin Sultan Hussain Shah Sultan Abdullah Shah aka Shamsuddin bin Sultan Hassan Shah bin Sultan Introduction Shah bin Sultan Hazim Shah bin Sultan  Khadim Shah bin Amir Muhammad Tajuddin Shah bin Amir Abdul Rahim bin Amir Abdul Rahman bin Amir Ayaz bin Asad Ibn Hashim bin Hashim Ibn Abdul Manaf bin Qusay (who is also the father of Hazrat Abdul Muttalib) - His Majesty first visited Khwarizm and then Multan  At that time, Multan was the capital of Dar es Salaam. Otherwise, there was disbelief everywhere. Kufr was born in Multan during the reign of Malik Ghaznavi. He was educated at the age of twelve and became a memorizer of the Qur'an.  He traveled to Khurasan, Bukhara, Baghdad and Madinah on foot and obtained a certificate of excellence from the madrassas there. He studied Hadith in Madinah. He also taught Hadith in Madinah.  When the time was right, Makkah came for Hajj and then returned to Madinah.  After that he went to Jerusalem and visited the shrines of the Holy Prophets. After that he did a lot of tourism. By the time he reached Baghdad, he had achieved a unique position and a high position in the Islamic world and was well versed in spirituality.  Had become

 Allegiance and Khilafah.

On the seventeenth night, Makhdoom Sahib saw in a dream that there was a large decorated house which was shining with radiant manifestations.  On the right side, Hazrat Sheikh Al-Sheikh is standing with his hands clasped and a few kharkhas are hanging nearby.  The Holy Prophet (sws) called Makhdoom Sahib in front of him and took his hand and handed it over to Hazrat Shaykh-ul-Shaykh and said that I entrust it to you.  Wear one of these cloaks to Baha'u'llah.  So they put a cloak on you as a command.

In the morning, Shaykh al-Shaykh called you and said that the cloak given to you at night was given to you by the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).  He put on that cloak and ordered that now he should reach Multan and engage in the guidance of the people.  He gave allegiance and caliphate in just 17 days.  The reign of Bahauddin Zakaria Suhrawardy spans a century.  During this period, he developed the sciences of external and internal sciences and various arts and crafts. He reached Multan in 614 AH when he was 36 years old.  When he reached Multan, he changed the map of Multan.  His fame was made by Hamdosh Suraya.  He built magnificent Majlis-e-Khana and beautiful mansions and mosques on the great Madrasa Rafi-ul-Manzalat Khanqah and Aarez Langar Khana.

At that time, the Madrasa of Multan was the Central Islamic University of India. Now, in view of your services, the government has established Bahauddin Zakaria University.

Multan became the center of Islam religiously, historically and culturally.  The construction of mosques, the establishment of madrassas in Arabia, the arrangement of anchorages and the traditions of Islamic architecture speak volumes for this.  If he looked up at the sky, he would see the greatness, and if he looked up at the earth, he would see the things of the underworld. He presented the moral and spiritual teachings of Islam through his practical life.  He saved the nation from falling into the abyss of mental turmoil and moral degradation.  He laid special emphasis on the followers of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and gave the best example of this from his practical life.

You lived a very aristocratic life. There was no place for your wealth. You were a millionaire old man. Your house was like a royal palace. The rooms were very spacious and their decoration was to be seen.  There were curtains of expensive Zarbaft. There were floors of Diba and Qaqim. In one side of which there was a tent roof.  He wore white and transparent clothes. He was completely dominant over the world. Wealth and the world could not deceive him nor could he stop him from obedience and worship.

He died in Multan in 666 AH at the age of 88. One day he was engaged in dhikr and dhikr in his hujra as usual. His son Sadruddin Suhrawardy was visiting outside.  A man came and gave him a sealed envelope to give it to Makhdoom Sahib. He opened it and read it. Only Allah came out of his mouth and Wasil died. There was so much noise from inside that the friend became attached.  In the same city, your shrine is a special and common place of pilgrimage.  The shrine of Bahauddin Zakaria Multani is a masterpiece of architecture.
