 There are 45,000 lightning storms in the world every day.  Every hour 1800 storms produce about 

360,000 times thunder and lightning. It is said that 6,000 times lightning is produced per minute.  The 

maximum electrical power in a single glow is 4,000,000 amperes. For a typical light bulb burning in a 

house, 1/4 ampere of electrical power is required.  If the electrical power of a single bolt of lightning is 

converted to mechanical power, a vehicle weighing 200 tons can travel at a speed of 60 km per hour for 

two hours.  Wherever there is a power outage, it rarely happens.  Therefore, work cannot be done with 

lightning. 250 million tons of crop can be harvested every year on 100 million acres of Pak -o Hind.  But it 

does not affect the fertility of the earth because the celestial lightning keeps on providing it with fertilizer.
