REPENTANCE

 Repentance

Repentance from sins, turning to God with a sincere heart, refraining from disobedience and returning to the way of worship, is repentance. In the Qur'an, the word repentance is used for both God and the servant. He is God.  He who accepts the repentance of his servants. Repentance removes the sin as if the sin had not been committed. According to the hadith of Mushkoot, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:  I repent in the Dargah of Allah. There is a hadith that Allah Almighty accepts the repentance of the servant until he starts talking about it.  The servant who repents out of fear of punishment is the one who repents. The one who repents for the sake of reward is the one who repents. The one who repents for the obedience and obedience of Allah's commands.  That is the answer. After repenting, give up the sin immediately. He should make a firm intention not to commit the next sin and then keep on repenting for committing the sin. Imam al-Ghazali says that repentance should be given to every believer immediately

Tadam-e-Marg is obligatory because many human beings are not free from sin and sinfulness is fatal for the soul of faith.  Let him ask forgiveness with his tongue. Absolutely restrain the body from sin and make the intention that I will not commit this sin again in the future. Let us pledge that we will avoid sins.
