 Feminism refers to the rights and legal privileges that are demanded by women and girls in many societies around the world. History has shown that women have been oppressed for a long time.  In Greece, in Egypt, in Iraq, in India, in China, in every nation, in every region, there was no place where the mountains of oppression on women were not broken.  People used to buy and sell it for their own luxury and animals were also treated badly.

   Islam brought a message of respect, dignity and protection of rights for humanity.  Before Islam, every weaker section of society was under the control of the powerful.  However, the condition of women in the society was the most unfortunate.

 The plight of women before Islam was indescribable.  A woman was considered only capable of producing children and serving her husband and children.  Islam liberated women from a life of humiliation and slavery and freed them from oppression and exploitation.  Before the advent of Islam, women were very oppressed and deprived of social respect.  It was considered the cause of all evils and despicable.  The Arabs had the worst attitude towards women. The Arab women of pre-Islamic times were not convinced of the value and status of women. They were deprived of all kinds of individual and collective rights.  In this system of pre-Islamic times, a woman was not only deprived of her inheritance, but she was also counted among the property of her father, husband or son.  Thus, like property, it was divided into inheritance and inheritance.

 The Arabs used to bury the girls as soon as they were born out of fear of famine or because of the idea that their existence was a disgrace to their caste.
