QURAN SHAREEF


 The Qur'an is the sacred and central book of Islam which the followers of Islam believe is the word of God and for this reason it is the most respected and honorable book.  It was revealed to the Prophet of Islam, Muhammad (peace be upon him).  This revelation was brought by Gabriel (peace be upon him), an angel close to God.

    There are many names of Holy Quran including Quran, Al-Furqan, Al-Tanzeel, Al-Dhikr, Al-Kitab, Al-Shifa, Al-Rahma, Huda, Al-Haq, Noor-ul-Mubin, Al-Mu'izzah, Al-Hikma, Al-Balagh, Al-Qawl Al-Fasl, Habal Allah, Ahsan Al-Hadith, Al-Urwa Al-Wathqa, Ibra  Sirat Mastiq, Al-Mizan, Al-Quran Al-Hakim, Al-Quran Al-Kareem, Quran Majeed, Al-Bayan, Khair, Mushaf etc. are famous.

   The hadith says that the best person among you is the one who learns and teaches the Qur'an.

   The Holy Quran is the last book of Allah which has been revealed to the last prophet Muhammad Rasool Allah. No other book will be revealed till the Day of Resurrection.  This is the renewal and renewal of the covenant. This is a divine gift, our common spiritual heritage.

 The Holy Qur'an was revealed as a guide for every human being in the world and as a mercy for the Muslims.  Even after 1400 years, not a single letter has changed in its text and it will not change till the Day of Judgment.

 There are a total of 114 suras in the Holy Quran, the number of verses is 6666 while the number of words is 77701.  There are a total of 1015030 points in the Holy Quran.  The largest surah of the Qur'an is Surah Al-Baqarah and the smallest is Surah Al-Kawthar, while the longest verse of the Qur'an is verse 282 of Surah Al-Baqarah.

 The arithmetic system of the Holy Qur'an is such a masterpiece miracle of Allah that the answer can never be given till the Day of Resurrection.
