A true martyr is one who works in the field of jihad while fighting the infidels in the way of Allah and sacrifices his life. In the term of Shariah, those who are killed in the way of Allah are called martyrs. There are many sayings about this, which are mentioned in Ahkam-ul-Quran Jasas, Ahkam-ul-Quran Qurtubi and other authentic commentaries.
And beware of those who are slain in the way of Allah. Do not think that those who are slain are dead. Those who receive blessings from God and are not yet able to join them have the good news that there is no fear or sorrow for them. They rejoice in the bounty of their Lord, His bounty, and His promise that He will not waste the reward of the believers.
Regarding the place of the martyr and the greatness of the martyrdom, this instruction of the Imam of the Prophets has the status of a sanad. It is narrated from Anas bin Malik that he said: Whoever enters Paradise does not like to return to this world. Go and give him everything in the world, but the martyr (his case is) that he wishes to return to the world and be killed ten times. (To be martyred again and again in the way of God) (Sahih Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, Bayhaqi).
Tradition has it that there are seven characteristics of a martyr: When the first drop of a martyr's blood falls on the ground, he is forgiven.
The head of the martyr is in the lap of Hurul Ain.
The martyrs will wear heavenly clothes.
The martyr will be perfumed with the best fragrances in the world.
The martyrs will see their place in paradise.
The martyr will be allowed to travel and enjoy the whole paradise.
The veil will be removed from the front of the martyr and the martyr will be honored with the pilgrimage of God. But it is clear from the hadiths that many more people will get the status of martyrdom in the sight of Allah and they will be in the status of martyrs. Who are these people Their number is innumerable. A hadith has been narrated from Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) once asked, “Who do you consider a martyr?” The Companions asked, “Who is killed in the way of Allaah? Is a martyr He said, "Then the martyrs of my ummah are very few." The Companions asked, "O Messenger of Allah (!), Then who are the martyrs?" He said, "Whoever is killed in the way of Allah is a martyr, and whoever dies in the way of Allah (natural death) is a martyr, and whoever dies in the plague is a martyr, and whoever dies of stomach ailment is a martyr." Is. "(Muslim).
