 The purpose of the creation of the universe and man

 1. Let me be recognized.

 The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) narrated it to Allaah, the Lord of Glory, that I was a hidden treasure, so I chose to be known, so I created the creatures and instructed in the Qur'aan.

  I have created the jinn and men only to worship Me.

 The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was the first to create a pen. The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: Allaah created the pen first and commanded the pen to write. He asked what I should write. Allaah said:  Till the Day of Resurrection. (Jami 'al-Tirmidhi)

 2. He created the whole universe in six days.

  Allah it is Who created the heavens and the earth in six periods and His Throne was over the water, that He might try you, which of you is best in conduct, if you should say to them:  When you go away, the disbelievers will return and say, "You are pure magic."

 3. He created the earth in two days.

  You say  That you disbelieve in Him and set up partners with Him Who created the earth in two days, and He is the Lord of the worlds.

  He is the Originator of the heavens and the earth. He says whatever He wills, "Be," and it is.

  And He has placed in the earth firm mountains above it, and has blessed it, and has provided therein sustenance, then in just four days for the needy.

 4. The purpose of man's creation.

  And when your Lord said to the angels: Surely I am going to make a caliph in the earth, they said: Why do you make a man to cause mischief in the earth and to shed blood? We are to glorify and glorify you.  He said, "You do not know what I know."

 5. Refusal to take the trust of the heavens and the earth and the mountains.

  We presented our trust to the heavens and the earth and the mountains, but they all refused to bear it and they were afraid of it. But man took it up. He is the most unjust, the ignorant.

 6. Denial of the prostration of Iblis to Adam.

  And when We said to the angels: Make obeisance to Adam, they made obeisance, but Iblis (did it not).  He refused and became arrogant, and he became one of the disbelievers.

 7. Two covenants with our souls in the spirit world.

  And when your Lord brought forth from among the children of Adam their offspring, and took from them a confession concerning them: Am I not your Lord?  Everyone answered why not!  We all become witnesses.  So that you will not say on the day of resurrection that we were unaware of it.

  O children of Adam!  Did I not tell you not to worship the devil? He is your open enemy.

 7. The descent of Adam, Eve and Iblis.

  But Satan seduced them and drove them out. We said, "Get down! You are enemies to each other, and you will have to stay in the land for an appointed time."

 8. On the 120th day of pregnancy, the soul descends from the spirit world to earth.

 On the 120th day of pregnancy, an angel, by the command of Allah, takes the soul from the spirit world and transfers it to the mother's womb, and four things are written: sustenance, time of death, good fortune and bad luck.

 9. Nafs Amara and Nafs Luama.

  And Satan has no power over them except that We may make clear to those who believe in the Hereafter of those who are in doubt about it.  And your Lord is the Guardian over everything.

 10. Honorable scribes.

  When two pickers leave, one is sitting on the right and one on the left.

  ۔  (Man) cannot utter a word except that he has a guard ready.

  11. The purpose of man's creation.

  I have created the jinn and humans only to worship Me

 For us, the person of the Messenger of Allah is a perfect example.

 Surely there is a good example for you in the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), for everyone who hopes for Allah and the Last Day and remembers Allah much.  We should worship and follow the Messenger of Allah.
