Jaber bin Hayyan You are an Arab scientist. You were born in 721 and died in 815. You are one of the world's greatest alchemists. You are an expert in fractionation. Abu Ali Hassan bin Hussain Ibn Al-Hashim is known in the Western world as Al-Hazn You were an Arab doctor. Your book on light is world famous. You sketched the eye a thousand years ago today. Light swears by energy. He laid down the laws of elasticity of light and explained spherical mirrors and needle-punched cameras.
Sheikh Al-Rais Bu Ali Sina. He was a great chemist, physician, physicist and pharmacist. He discovered the cure for incurable diseases. He wrote more than a hundred books. He wrote 16 books on medicine and five on science. The people of Europe benefited greatly from these books. They remained part of the curriculum in Europe for almost eight centuries. He was born in 980 and died in 1038.
