Information about the mountains


 Pahar is actually a Sanskrit word and it is widely used in common Urdu.  The other names used in Urdu as an alternative to this are:

 Mountain is derived from Persian, mountain, derived from Sanskrit and mountain, derived from Arabic.  A mountain is a large ridge that usually rises in the form of a peak from the surrounding land in a limited area.  A mountain is usually steep and difficult to climb.  Pakistan is home to 108 peaks above 7000 meters. There is no number of peaks above 4000 meters above 5,000.  Five of the 14 highest peaks in the world (over eight thousand high) are in Pakistan.  (Four of which are located in the kidneys of Concuria).

    The world's highest mountain, Mount Everest, is now 8848 meters high after rising by about one meter.  The height of the world's highest mountain, Mount Everest, has now risen by 86 cm

There are many mountains and peaks in the world which are forbidden to climb for one reason or another.  The reasons for the ban could be religious and environmental, while some mountains have been banned due to their danger.

 Below is a list of some of these forbidden mountains

 Gankhar Pionism, Bhutan

 At 7,570 meters, the Himalayan peak is said to be the highest peak in the world.

 Ship Rock, USA

 Located in the US state of New Mexico, this peak rises dramatically from the surrounding plains.

  It is considered sacred by the people of Noahu, which is why climbing has been banned since 1970.

 However, people still secretly try to head it, during which some deaths have occurred.

 Mount Omina, Japan

 Men are allowed to climb this 1719 meter high peak but women cannot wander near it.

 This peak is important for the followers of Shinto religion

 Hair pyramid, Australia

 It is an extinguished volcano that rises 788 km off the east coast of Australia in the Pacific Ocean.  Two incidents occurred in 1986: the mountain was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site and its head was banned.

 Mount Banahau, Philippines

 Climbers have been trying their luck on this 2170 meter high mountain till 1994, but then it has been closed for mountaineering. The world's highest peaks in Pakistan are as follows.

 K2K2, also known as 'Mount Goodwin Austin and Shah Gauri', is the highest peak in Pakistan and the second highest peak in Pakistan after Mount Everest at 8611 meters and is located in the Karakoram Range.  It was first climbed by two Italian climbers on July 31, 1954.

   Nanga Parbat is the ninth highest peak in the world and the second highest in Pakistan at 8125 meters.

    Gashar Bram One is the third highest peak in Pakistan and the eleventh highest in the world.

  Broad Peak is the 12th highest peak in the world and the fourth highest in Pakistan.

   Gasher Bram To is the thirteenth highest mountain in the world and the fifth highest in Pakistan. It is located in the Karakoram range and has an elevation of 8035 meters.

   Dastaghal Sar is the highest mountain in the Karakoram Range, Hesper Moztag, located in the Gojal region in the northern regions.

   Masherbaram, also known as 'K1', is located in Ganchhe district of Gilgit-Baltistan. It is 7881 meters high.

 There are only 14 peaks above 8,000 meters in the world, five of which are part of the Holy Land.
